Seabrook Marketing is owned and managed by Rob Baldry.

With a Business Studies degree from Oxford Brookes University, and a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Rob Baldry has a broad experience in the hotel, leisure and hospitality sector. Starting his career in the retail travel sector, he then had 4 years in visitor attractions, at LEGOLAND Windsor, where he was involved in the build and launch programme of the new theme park.

Rob then moved into the hotel sector, as a Marketing Manager at Regal Hotels, a UK PLC with 115 hotels nationwide. There he was responsible for managing the short breaks programme and all leisure marketing activities, a sector worth about £15m to the group. Rob was soon promoted to the role of Head of Marketing, where he initiated the groups first foray into the world of e-commerce, a distribution channel which grew from £12,000 revenue in year one to over £2m revenue within 5 years. As the hotel group was taken over by a Malaysian conglomerate, and began to shrink through a strategic disposal strategy, Rob also initiated a strategy to rebrand the retained hotels as Corus Hotels, including the rebranding of 5 hotels in Australia and Malaysia.

After a short spell as Sales and Marketing Director for No Ordinary Hotels, a small group of luxury historic properties, in June 2006, Rob set up Seabrook Marketing, to help to bring his significant strategic experience to a wider client base. Since that time, Seabrook Marketing has become one of the foremost UK hotel marketing consultancies with clients throughout the country.

In August 2007 Rob set up StaySouthWest, an accommodation web site, and in early 2009 has set up Flexis Hospitality Solutions, working with other industry experts to offer a wider range of expertise to the hospitality industry.

As well as having been the recipient of a number of Hotel Marketing Association awards over the years, Rob is now a regular on the panel of judges for the annual awards. He also sits on the Marketing Advisory Group for VisitCornwall. Rob is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Hotel Marketing Association and The Tourism Society.
