Company Ethics
Seabrook Marketing aims to take a strong ethical position in business. Through an involvement with CrossLink Ministries, a Christian principled organisation that is championing a counter-culture of ethical business practice, quality service and excellent treatment of customers and staff, Seabrook Marketing is looking to adhere to key principles in all its business activities :
Honesty
- To deal honestly with all people at all times.
- As far as it is within our power, to be transparently honest with descriptions of goods and services.
- If within our power, to offer compensation if it is ever appropriate.
- Honouring our word when we give it.
Accountability
- To keep to agreed project fees and timescales.
- To seek and listen to honest feedback and be willing to improve.
- Openness to others, allowing them to comment on the business should they have legitimate concerns.
Integrity
- To be open with a client as regards any commissions, incentives or discounts from suppliers.
- To be legal, truthful, honest and decent in all marketing communications - our own and our clients'.
- As a business owner, to pay bills and wages on time.
- To pay all due tax in full and on time.
Respect
- To treat customers with dignity and respect at all times, including not selling the customer inappropriate products or services.
- To treat all staff and colleagues with dignity and respect at all times.
- To treat competitors with dignity and respect at all times.
- Apologising unreservedly when an apology is due.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
For client peace of mind, Seabrook Marketing maintains Professional Indemnity Insurance with Hiscox Underwriting Limited. Of course, there has never been a need to make a claim on the policy.
Data Protection
Seabrook Marketing is registered with the Data Protection Registrar. We take the handling of any client data very seriously and take measures to ensure compliance with industry best practice, especially in dealing with consumer marketing activities. We also regularly back up data and images to ensure client information is protected from possible IT system failure.
